Description: A transplantable rat hepatoma cell line derived from ascites.

Growth Properties:
Morphology: epithelial-like
Growth Medium: DM201 medium with 2 % fetal bovine serum. Add fetal bovine serum at the concentration of 10% for initial cell attachment after thawing (one over night).
Subculturing Procedure: Cells harvested after treatment with 0.25% trypsin.
