Description: A subclone of the line RLC which was derived from the normal liver cells of a male Wistar rat.

Growth Medium: EMEM (EBSS) + 2mM Glutamine + 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) + 20mM Hepes + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:1000 i.e. seeding at 5×1000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
