Description
Description: Established from a NIH Swiss mouse embryo. These cells are sensitive to sarcoma virus focus formation and leukemia virus propogation. Cells have now lost their contact inhibition.

Growth Medium: DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Calf Serum (CS).
Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:2 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-5×10000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C. Do not allow culture to become fully confluent; the use of fetal calf serum is not recommended.
