Description: A bromodeoxyuridine-resistant mutant of NS20Y (ECACC catalogue number 08062517) The cell line NS20Y is a cholinergic cell line derived from mouse neuroblastoma C1300 (Amano et al.”, (1972) Neurotransmitter synthesis by neuroblastoma clones. Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. 69: 258-262) Mouse strain A/Jax.

Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4×10,000 cells/cm² using 0.05% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
