Description
Description: Normal human primary thyroid follicular epithelial cells were transfected with a plasmid containing an origin-defective SV40 genome (SV-ori) to immortalise them. SV40 DNA was able to immortalise normal thyroid epithelial cells with the retention of several different functions.
