Description

Description: The antibody is directed against the monomorphic determinant of the mouse Thy-1 T cell antigen. Has been used in T+NK cell depletion in vivo and flow cytometry studies. Cambridge Enterprise Reference number AB10:www.enterprise.cam.ac.uk.

Also Known As:

Species: Rat

Growth Medium: RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 0.05mM 2-mercaptoethanol (2ME) + 20% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS). These cells may adhere very firmly to standard cell culture flasks therefore ECACC suggests using ultra low attachment flasks (e.g. Corning 3814).

Subculturing Procedure: Maintain cultures between 3-9 x 100,000 cells/ml. 5% CO2; 37°C. Saturation density 9 x 100,000/ml
